Chusin Suthanmthiti is our legal counsel at EnDepth. He is a seasoned litigator and a highly regarded legal advisor in Thailand, with over 20 years of experience in legal practice. His expertise covers a broad range of legal areas, including civil, criminal, bankruptcy, labor, tax, customs, and administrative litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. He is not only a skilled litigator but also an attentive listener, providing litigation advice from both theoretical and practical perspectives.
Beyond litigation, Chusin offers strategic legal counsel on general legal matters, corporate structures, and compliance. He has extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, and advising on contracts, corporate documents, and other legal instruments, ensuring both legal integrity and business efficiency. Moreover, Chusin also gives highly regarded advice to high-net-worth families, advising on legacy and estate planning, inheritance disputes, and crucial matters related to family law, wills, and family charters.
Chusin earned his law degree from Thammasat University and has been a qualified Thai barrister since 1998 and 2003, respectively. Before joining EnDepth, he built his career at Chayandorn Law Office and trained at Baker & McKenzie, where he honed his litigation and corporate advisory skills.
With a deep understanding of Thai law and a strong track record in dispute resolution, Chusin is a trusted legal expert, dedicated to delivering effective legal solutions for both businesses and individuals.
Auaychai Sukawong is a partner and focus on the tax and legal practice at EnDepth. He is a highly accomplished lawyer with over 25 years’ experience practicing tax and regulatory law, and he has particular expertise in foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions, reorganization, and inbound and outbound transactions.
Auaychai’s practice includes tax structuring for inbound and outbound investment in ASEAN, as well as outbound investment structuring for Southeast Asian companies expanding overseas—especially into China, the European Union, India, Japan, and the United States. He is renowned for his investment structuring planning, tax treaty interpretation, BEPS advisory and implementation work, tax and legal implementation exercises related to business restructuring, reorganization advice in relation to M&A transactions, Initial Public Offering (“IPO”), family business and office planning, and due diligence
In addition to the above, he advises Thailand-based and Thai-listed companies in the energy, petrochemical and refinery, oil and gas, infrastructure, consumer retail, media and entertainment, hospitality, and other sectors on tax and investment structures, including overseas business expansion and acquisition transactions. He also provides ongoing tax advice—including on day-to-day operations—and tax compliance services for various businesses active in Thailand.
Prior to establishing EnDepth, Auaychai worked as a partner and senior advisor in the Bangkok offices of KPMG Thailand and PwC Thailand, respectively for over 12 years. He holds an LLM (adv.) from the International Tax Center of Leiden University as well as LLM and LLB degrees from Thammasat University. Moreover, he is the International Tax Affiliate at ADIT International Tax under supervision of and accredited by the Chartered Institution of Taxation (CIOT) in the United Kingdom. His ADIT qualification includes international tax, transfer pricing, and Singapore tax.
